Stafford’s Commitment to Responsible Investing

ESG considerations embedded in our investment processes

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors are intrinsic to the investment environment in which Stafford operates. As an investor in third-party funds, we undertake detailed pre-investment due diligence of potential funds, their managers, and underlying assets before making an investment decision. Once an investment is made, we maintain regular communication and work closely with the managers of investee funds on the ESG front to mitigate risks and capture opportunities.

Net Zero targets

Our strategies have evolved to reflect our commitment toward achieving Net-Zero, and similar to its predecessor fund, SISF V has specific and more ambitious climate-related investment targets as outlined below

Initiatives

Stafford has been a signatory of the PRI since 2010 and it has been awarded a 5-star rating in the latest PRI reporting cycle.

UN PRI

The PRI is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment. It works to understand the investment implications of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions.

At Stafford we integrate the UN sustainable development goals into our responsible investment framework.

UN SDGs
